Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Message |
||
I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.
Tonight, Wood Street SNT have disrupted a gang of youths who are actively using Blackberry Close, E17 off Shernall Street, E17 as a hideout for drug dealing and drug use. The group have been dispersed and issued with Community Protection Warnings and resulting in 1 person being arrested. This marks the 55th arrest for Operation Nephelinite since its initiation (July 2025). Wood Street SNT will continue to be robust in our actions to protect our communities from harm. Your help, support and assistance is greatly appreciated - Thank You! We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it. We will keep you updated on our efforts to do this in your area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible.
If you ever experience this issue or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.met.police.uk/, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101.
Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
We are working on our brand-new strategy for how we police London and we want your help. Our New Met for London: Phase 2 strategy will guide how we deliver on behalf of Londoners over the next three years. | ||
